Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make Downtown Family Vision the leading provider of vision care products and services in Wilber.

Dr. Nicole Morrissey, O.D., FOVDR

Dr. Nicole Morrissey has been providing quality eye care for nearly a decade in southeast Nebraska. She was raised in Bruning and attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln for her undergraduate degree. She then attended Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry for her doctorate in optometry. Nicole Morrissey, O.D. also received her fellowship in vision development in 2013. To receive her fellowship, she had to complete more extensive research and training in how vision develops from infancy and beyond and difficulties encountered in that development including disorders in eye teaming, eye focusing, tracking, and visual processing.

Nicole Morrissey, O.D. currently resides outside of Wilber. Her husband, Nate, is the band director at Tri County Public School. She and Nate have 4 children: Lucy, Norah, Stella, and Spencer. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with friends and family, bake, attend Husker sporting events (Go Big Red!), and listen to music. Nicole Morrissey, O.D. loves how strong, vibrant, and supportive Wilber is and enjoys serving the people of the community and the surrounding area.


Katlin Ladman

Katlin has over 15 years in the eye care industry. At Downtown Family Vision she does a little bit of everything, from insurance and billing, scheduling, contact lens training, as well as helping patients pick their perfect pair of glasses. When Katlin is not at the office you can find her spending time with her husband Chris and son Kyler, reading and going to sporting events.
